Saturday Stitch:Crossroads Cable Stitch

Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
Today's stitch is: Crossroads Cable Stitch.




 It's great for  sweaters, jackets, blankets, throws etc. worked over  23 stitches.

Instructions :

Rows 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 (RS) K3, [p1, k3] 5 times.
Row 2 and all WS rows [P3, k1] 5 times, p3.
Rows 13 and 29 [K3, p1] twice, 7-st RPC, [p1, k3] twice.
Rows 15, 19, 23 and 27 K3, [p1, k3] 5 times.
Rows 17 and 25 K3, p1, [7-st LPC, p1] twice, k3.
Row 21 7-st RPC, [p1, 7-st RPC] twice.
Row 30 [P3, k1] 5 times, p3.
Rep rows 1-30.


7-st RPC Sl 4 sts to cable needle and hold to back, k3, then p1, k3 from cable needle.
7-st LPC Sl 3 sts to cable needle and hold to front, k3, p1, then k3 from cable needle.

Saturday Stitch: Rib Broken With A Twisted Stitch

Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
Today's stitch is: Rib Broken with a Twisted Stitch



 It's great for scarves, sweaters, jackets, shawls, afghans, pillows or baby blankets etc. You need a stitch number multiples of 4 stitches. Repeat the pattern between the * as many times as you like.

Instructions :

Row 1 (RS) *K2, p2; rep from * to end.
Rows 2–8 K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Row 9 *RT, p2; rep from * to end.
Rows 10–18 K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Row 19 *P2, k2; rep from * to end.
Rows 20–26  K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Row 27 *P2, RT; rep from * to end.
Rows 28–36 K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Rep rows 1–36.


Stitch Explanation: RT (right twist) K2tog but do not drop from LH needle, knit first st again and drop both sts from LH needle.

Saturday Stitch: Easy Honeycomb Stitch.

Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
Today's stitch is: Easy Honeycomb Stitch.







 It's great for scarves, sweaters, jackets, shawls, afghans, pillows or baby blankets etc. You need a stitch number multiples of 4 stitches. Repeat the pattern between the * as many times as you like.


Instructions :



Row 1:  *  c2b, c2f, repeat from * to end
Rows 2, 4, 6 & 8:  purl across all stitches,
Row 3:  knit across all stitches,
Row 5:  * c2f, c2b, repeat from * to end.
Row 7:  knit across all stitches
Repeat rows 1 through 8.
Stitch Explanation: C2B 2-stitch back cable- slip 1 onto a cable needle and hold in back of work, knit 1, knit 1 from the cable needle.
 C2F 2-stitch front cable -slip 1 onto a cable needle and hold in front of work, knit 1, knit 1 from the cable needle.



Difficulty level: Easy

Saturday Stitch: Cabled Firefly Stitch.



Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
Today's stitch is: Cabled  Firefly Stitch.



 It's great for scarves, sweaters, jackets, shawls, afghans, pillows or baby blankets etc. You need a stitch number multiple of 10 + 1 stitches. Repeat the pattern between the * as many times as you like.

Instructions :

Rows 1, 5, 7, 9, 13, 17, 19 and 21 (RS) *P1, k4; rep from *, end p1. 
Row 2 and all WS rows K1, *p4, k1; rep from * to end. 
Rows 3 and 23 *P1, 4-st RC, p1, k4; rep from *, end p1. 
Rows 11 and 15 *P1, k4, p1, 4-st RC; rep from *, end p1. 
Row 24 Rep row 2. 
Repeat rows 1–24.

Stitch Explanation: 4-st RC,  Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold to back, k2, k2 from cable needle.

Saturday Stitch: Cabled Eyelet Stitch

Today's stitch is: Cabled Eyelet Stitch.


 It's great for scarves, sweaters, jackets, shawls, afghans, pillows or baby blankets etc. You need a stitch number multiple of 6 stitches. Repeat the pattern between the * as many times as you like.

Instructions :

Rows 1 (RS): *Sl1,k2,pass the slipped stitch over the 2 knit stitches, k3;rep from *
Row 2: p4*;yo, p5 rep from *ending the row with yo, p1
Row 3: *k3, sl1,k2, pass the slipped stitch over the 2 knit stitches; rep from * 
Row 4: P1*,yo, p5; rep from *ending the row with yo, p4

Repeat rows 1 through 4.



Difficulty level: Easy

Saturday Stitch : XOXO Cable


Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
Today's stitch is: XOXO Cable


Give lots of hugs and kisses with the XOXO cable stitch at Valentines day or any time of the year. Great for hats, sacrves, sweater, throws, baby blankets etc. You need a stitch number multiple of 8 + 2 edge stitches. Repeat the pattern between the * as many times as you like.

Instructions :


Row 1: edge stitch, knit across to last st, edge stitch
Row 2 & all wrong side rows: edge stitch, purl across to last st, edge stitch
Row 3: edge stitch, *c4f, c4b, c4b, c4f, repeat from * to last stitch, edge stitch
Row 5: edge stitch, knit across to last st, edge stitch
Row 7: edge stitch, * c4b, c4f, c4f, c4b, repeat from * to last st, edge stitch
Repeat rows 1 through 8.
C4B (slip 2 stitches onto cable needle and hold in back of work; knit 2, knit 2 from the cable needle)
C4F (slide 2 stitches onto cable needle and hold in front of work; knit 2, knit 2 from the cable needle)



Difficulty level: Easy
