Saturday Stitch: Rib Broken With A Twisted Stitch

Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
Today's stitch is: Rib Broken with a Twisted Stitch



 It's great for scarves, sweaters, jackets, shawls, afghans, pillows or baby blankets etc. You need a stitch number multiples of 4 stitches. Repeat the pattern between the * as many times as you like.

Instructions :

Row 1 (RS) *K2, p2; rep from * to end.
Rows 2–8 K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Row 9 *RT, p2; rep from * to end.
Rows 10–18 K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Row 19 *P2, k2; rep from * to end.
Rows 20–26  K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Row 27 *P2, RT; rep from * to end.
Rows 28–36 K the knit sts and p the purl sts.
Rep rows 1–36.


Stitch Explanation: RT (right twist) K2tog but do not drop from LH needle, knit first st again and drop both sts from LH needle.



Difficulty level: MEDIUM
