Saturday Stitch - Angel Wings Cable

Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
This week's stitch is Angel wings cable.

A very beautiful knit motif, with a pair of wings in the middle of a diamond, looks lovely on a sweater.

Abbreviations

m1 - make 1 (increase 1 stitch by lifting strand between last stitch worked and next stitch on left-hand needle, place lifted strand on left-hand needle, knit into back loop of lifted strand)

sl1kw - slip 1 knitwise.

c8b (slip 4 stitches onto a cable needle and hold in back of work; knit 4; knit 4 from the cable needle)

c8f (slip 4 stitches onto a cable needle and hold in front of work; knit 4; knit 4 from the cable needle)
