Saturday Stitch: Lacy Diamond Stitch



Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
Today's stitch is: Lacy Diamond Stitch.



 It's great for jackets, scarves, shawls, afghans, pillows or baby blankets etc. You need a stitch number multiple of 15 . Repeat the pattern between the * as many times as you like.


Instructions :

Rows 1 (RS):  *k5, k2tog, yfwd, k1, yfwd, sl 1, k1, psso, k5; rep from *
Row 2: and all alternate rows, purl
Row 3: *k4, k2tog, yfwd, k3, yfwd, sl1, k1, psso, k4 ; rep from * 
Row 5: *k3, k2tog, yfwd, k5, yfwd, sl1, k1, psso, k3 ; rep from *
Row 7: *k2, k2tog, yfwd, k7, yfwd, sl1, k1, psso, k2 ; rep from *
Row 9: *k3, yfwd, sl1, k1, psso, k5, k2tog, yfwd, k3 ; rep from*
Row 11: k4, yfwd.sl1, k1, psso, k3, k2tog, yfwd, k4 ; rep from*
Row 13: k5, yfwd, sl1, k1, psso, k1, k2tog, yfwd, k5 ; rep from*
Row 15: k6, yfwd, sl1, k2tog, psso, yfwd, k6 ; rep from*
Row 16: purl
Repeat rows 1 through 16 making sure to end on row 16.
