Saturday Stitch: Narrow Lace Edging


Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
Today's stitch is: Narrow Lace Edging.


Add a little flair or a decorative element to your knitting, maybe to stabilize the edge to prevent rolling or simply make your work look more finished.  Great to use on a scarf, sweater instead of a rib, blankets and throws.

Instructions:
Cast on 6 sts
Row 1 K1, K2tog, yfw, K2 yfw twice to make 2sts, K1
Row 2 K2, K1 tbl, K2tog, yfw, K3
Row 3 K1, K2tog, yfw, K5
Row 4 Cast off 2sts, K2tog, yfw, K3
Repeat rows 1 - 4 till required length

yfw - yarn forward
K1 tbl - knit 1 through back of loop
