Every Saturday I will share with you a new stitch.
Today's stitch is: Bobble Stitch
These cute stockinette bobbles are easy to make and can be used as a standalone stitch or as decorative elements in any knitting project.
Note: There are different techniques for making bobbles. All of them begin with making an odd number of stitches into one stitch. Then, in the more traditional technique, you need to turn the work, work the new stitches, turn the work again and decrease the stitches back to one. In the technique shown here, there is no turning of the work for the specific purpose of finishing the bobbles. This stitch forms a checkered effect of bobbles
You need a stitch number multiple of 4 + 5 + 2 edge stitches. Repeat the pattern between the * as many times as you like.
